Manifesting and Meditating with Markers

Whoa…totally hit the overwhelm state today. I had to get up and walk away from work–well, at least walk away from sitting at the computer doing nothing but worrying about the work I wasn’t doing.  I chose to go outside and do a little breathing, meditating, and drawing OUT of my visions and things I intend on manifesting to get back to center.

Cleaned off the hammock and cozied up with my notebook and markers…and here is what doodled out (including oak tree shadow):

Images spark story telling and deeper discussion

Last week, The McCombs School of Business Development and External Relations Department and the University of Texas, held a Team Building Retreat.  It was a blast to facilitate and engage this group.

In addition to graphic facilitation, we used images from VisualsSpeak to get each participant engaged. It is really cool to watch how the images draw the stories out of people.  One of the biggest “Ah Has” that kept coming up last week, was perspective. MicroAssist is excited to welcome back Allison Crow of Crow Hill Conversations to our classroom! Her workshops at E-Learning Symposium were so popular that we’ve opened another session. The morning will cover the basics of Visual Thinking, and the afternoon will delve deeper into involved learning and push and pull visual thinking methods.
